Carilion Family Medicine - Drs. Schubert, Marsh & Pence (Day
Regular Part Time
Mon, Wed, Fri,.9-12 (can be variable)
Must possess skills to transcribe medical reports for inclusion in the patient's medical record and for transmission to physicians and other health care facilities. Will serve as a back up for other duties including filing charts, phones, and other duties as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one (1) year transcription experience needed. Excellent typing and computer skills essential. Job requires sitting at computer 90% of the time. Must be able to transcribe voice dictation and work under deadlines.
